About
Multicolor Birding Colombia is a Medellín-based birding tour operator founded in 2010 by Colombian guide Pablo Flórez. The company is built around Pablo's two decades of field experience and his published Birdwatching in Colombia site guide, and runs both set-departure tours and customized itineraries across the country's major birding regions.
Flagship trips include the Western and Central Andes endemics circuit, a Bogotá-and-Northern-Colombia loop covering Santa Marta and La Guajira, and an Inírida tour into the Guainía white-sand forests. Multi-week combo packages chain these regions together for visiting birders aiming at long Colombia trip lists. Group sizes are kept small, and tours are typically led by Pablo or one of a small bench of partner guides.
The company is a partner of Rainforest Trust and channels a share of profits into private reserve purchases, giving it a stronger conservation footprint than most for-profit operators in the region.
