About
Yorkshire Coast Nature describes itself as the region's only dedicated nature tour operator, run by a small team of locally based guides covering the coastline and uplands between the Humber and North Yorkshire. The company specialises in immersive day tours, multi-day breaks and workshops across the Yorkshire Coast, the Yorkshire Wolds, the North York Moors National Park and the Yorkshire Dales, with regular visits to the three Yorkshire bird observatories at Flamborough, Filey and Spurn.
Programming spans birding safaris, photography workshops, seabird and cetacean boat trips, owl and nightjar evenings and tailor-made bookings, alongside a small selection of international trips. The team partners with the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and the local bird observatories and channels annual grants back into regional nature conservation, reinforcing the link between the tour business and the landscapes it depends on.
