Wings of Hungary is a licensed Hungarian bird tour operator based in Kecskemét, on the doorstep of Kiskunság National Park in the Great Hungarian Plain. The outfit is led by guide Tamás Vass, who runs day trips, seasonal packages and tailor-made itineraries that take in the puszta grasslands, fishpond complexes and forested hills that make Hungary a year-round destination for European birders. The target list reads like a wishlist of the Pannonian Plain: breeding Great Bustard, Eastern Imperial Eagle and Saker Falcon in spring, swirling flocks of Common Cranes at Hortobágy in autumn, and wintering Red-breasted and Lesser White-fronted Geese on the Tisza floodplains.
