About
Whitehawk Birding & Conservation is a Panama-headquartered birding and nature-tour operator founded by wildlife biologists, registered with the Panama Tourism Authority (#761-AV). The company runs custom and set-departure tours across the Neotropics with a deliberate focus on small groups and conservation-linked itineraries.
In Panama the lead in-country guide is Domiciano 'Domi' Alveo, a self-taught El Valle native who started guiding at age 14 and led Whitehawk's inaugural Panama tour in 2007 before joining the team full-time in 2023. Whitehawk also offers ornitherapy programmes that combine yoga and meditation with birding, plus accessible day trips out of Panama City.
While the company's deepest local footprint is Panama, it sells into Costa Rica, Colombia, Belize, Guatemala and a longer list of secondary destinations through partner guides.
