Vietnam Birding

Vietnam Birding is a Ho Chi Minh City-based, fully licensed inbound tour operator founded by resident British birder Richard Craik. The company specialises in escorted small-group and individually tailored custom birdwatching tours across Vietnam, from the endemic-rich Da Lat Plateau and Cat Tien lowlands to the limestone forests of Cuc Phuong and the Mekong Delta wetlands. Vietnam Birding makes a point of ethical practice, explicitly declining to use hides, blinds or baiting/feeding stations to attract birds, a stance the company says is in response to widespread misuse of those techniques locally. Their itineraries are pitched at international birders chasing Vietnam's endemics and Indochinese specialities, including Edwards's Pheasant, Vietnamese Crested Argus and the Da Lat laughingthrush complex.
