About
Thousand Islands Expeditions is a Pembrokeshire-based marine wildlife operator running boat trips out of St Justinians to the seabird islands of Ramsey, Skomer, and Grassholm. Established in 1975, the family-run company offers a mixed programme of wildlife cruises, RSPB-guided walks on Ramsey, pelagic trips, and evening shearwater excursions designed around the breeding seabird calendar.
While the operation also runs general boat charters and fishing trips, the birding-focused itineraries are a core part of the business and benefit from privileged access to one of Britain's largest gannetries on Grassholm and the puffin and Manx shearwater colonies of Skomer. Their boats also serve regular visitors to the Atlantic Grey Seal colonies on Ramsey beaches.
