UK-born, Bangkok-based ornithologist Nick Upton has run ThaiBirding.com since 2004 as the original English-language guide to birds and birding in Thailand, and leads private and small-group tours throughout the country averaging more than 200 days in the field per year. He also organises trips to neighbouring Asian countries and the Middle East and writes extensively on Thai birds, sites and conservation.
