Tangkoko Wildlife Tour

Tangkoko Wildlife Tour is a community-rooted wildlife and birding operator based in Batuputih Bawah, Bitung, on the boundary of the Tangkoko-Duasudara reserve in North Sulawesi. The company is run by guide Julian Mendome and specialises in birds, primates (notably crested macaques and tarsiers) and other wildlife of the Wallacea region. Beyond its home base in Tangkoko and the Tomohon highlands, the team arranges multi-leg trips into Lore Lindu, Halmahera for the Standardwing, and across to West Papua including Sorong, Raja Ampat (Waigeo) and the Arfak Mountains. Guides work in English and tailor trips for both birders and photographers.
