About
Serbia DMC is a Balkan-focused destination management company headquartered in Serbia that runs a dedicated birdwatching programme alongside its broader incoming-tour business. Their signature seven-day itinerary covers roughly 340 of Serbia's recorded bird species across the wetlands and steppe of Vojvodina, the floodplains around Belgrade, and the protected areas of Fruska Gora and Carska Bara.
The tours are timed to four distinct windows — spring migration in March/April, the breeding season in May/June, autumn passage in August/September, and the wintering raptor and waterfowl season — and emphasise target species such as Imperial Eagle, White-tailed Eagle, Glossy Ibis, and European Roller. Logistics, transport, and licensed local guides are handled in-house by the Serbia DMC team rather than subcontracted.
While the parent company is a general DMC, the birding product is built around ornithological itineraries rather than packaged sightseeing.
