About
Pandion Wild Tours (originally Pandion-D) is a Sofia-based birdwatching and natural history operator founded in 1990 by biologist Nikolay Dilchev, a licensed Bulgarian tour leader. The company markets itself as the country's leading birding outfit and is one of the longest-running specialist operators in the Balkans.
Its itineraries cover Bulgaria's flagship sites — the Black Sea wetlands, Rhodope and Rila mountains, and the Via Pontica migration corridor — and extend into Romania (Dobrogea and the Danube Delta) and northern Greece. Beyond classic birdwatching, the company runs botany, butterfly, mammal, and wildlife-photography tours.
