Numenius Nature in Context

Numenius Nature in Context is a Valencia-based ornithological tourism company offering guided day trips and short multi-day getaways across the Valencian region and into neighbouring provinces. Founded by Virgilio Beltrán and operating from València, the company tailors itineraries to the needs of individuals, couples, and small groups, providing binocular and telescope loans alongside a professional guide. Sites covered include Yátova, Ayora, El Estany near Cullera, and the steppes around Camporrobles. Numenius also runs training programmes for people seeking to work professionally in ornithological tourism, positioning itself as both a tour operator and a skills-development platform for the sector. The company shares overlapping roots and some programme offerings with Actio Birding, another Valencia-based operator.
