About
Nature's Wonderland Safaris is a Nairobi-based East African operator that runs dedicated birding safaris into Tanzania alongside its Kenyan and Ugandan programmes. The company is positioned as a private-guide outfit rather than a group-departure brand, and tours are built around a small named guide team rather than a rotating pool of drivers.
Featured guides include Albert Baya, who specialises in birds and plants; Nicodemus, an ornithology research technician; and Joseph Mwangi, a senior ornithological guide with more than a decade of East African field experience. The team handles birding-only itineraries as well as mixed bird-and-mammal safaris, and unusually for an East African operator they advertise German-language guiding alongside English.
In Tanzania their core route is the northern circuit plus Arusha National Park and the southern Selous/Nyerere reserve, with Zanzibar add-ons for combined birding/beach trips.
