Miksture

Miksture is a fully-licensed Central Asian birdwatching and wildlife tour company founded by Danish ornithologist Michael Westerbjerg Andersen, with first departures running in spring 1994. The company has been formally operational under the Miksture name since 2001 and is one of the longest-running western specialists in the region. Its core programme covers Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, with extensions to Mongolia and East Asia. Itineraries focus on Central Asian endemics, high-altitude raptors and desert birds, plus mammal-watching trips for snow leopard, Pallas's cat and Siberian ibex.
