Malabar Hornbill Holidays

Malabar Hornbill Holidays is a Kerala-based wildlife tourism operator built around the Thattekad Bird Sanctuary in the Western Ghats. Thattekad's 25 square kilometres are home to more than 300 bird species, including a strong line-up of Western Ghats endemics and forest specialities. The operator offers morning, evening and night birdwatching sessions with local guides, with target species ranging from Malabar Grey Hornbill, Malabar Barbet and White-bellied Blue Flycatcher to harder-to-find night birds such as Mottled Wood Owl and Sri Lanka Frogmouth. Tours are priced per head and include guide fees and sanctuary entry.
