Lawson's Birding & Wildlife Safaris is a long-running, family-led operator based in Nelspruit on the doorstep of Kruger National Park. The company has been running guided birding and wildlife tours for more than thirty years, with founder Peter Lawson personally leading many of the trips and engaging additional registered guides when he is unavailable. Though rooted in South Africa, where Lawson's specialises in tailormade small-group itineraries across the sub-region's varied habitats and its 900-plus species, the company also operates further afield in Botswana, Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
