About
Langur Eco Travels is a Bhutanese-owned birdwatching, wildlife photography and nature tour specialist headquartered in Thimphu. Founded in 2006, the company is staffed by Bhutanese guides who have spent years walking the country's mountain trails and protected areas, building hands-on familiarity with the resident megafauna and high-altitude avifauna.
Tours run from short five-day samplers up to nineteen-day expeditions that work across the major national parks, including Jigme Dorji, Royal Manas, Thrumshingla and Wangchuck Centennial. The team contributes Bhutanese bird recordings to Xeno-canto and maintains its own call library for guests, signalling a more research-minded approach than the country's standard cultural-tour outfits.
