Kabira Safaris Africa

Kabira Safaris Africa is a Kampala-based safari operator running birding, gorilla-trekking and broader wildlife itineraries across East and Southern Africa, plus island extensions to Zanzibar and the Seychelles. The company has been operating for over a decade and is B Corp-certified, committing 10% of proceeds to local community programmes. Although best known for primate trekking, Kabira runs dedicated birding programmes in Uganda's Albertine Rift, the Congolese rainforest, Kenya's Rift Valley lakes and Rwanda's Nyungwe Forest, targeting Albertine Rift endemics such as Grauer's Broadbill and Rwenzori Turaco. Trips are led by bilingual local guides, drivers and trackers with regional affiliations across the continent.
