About
Jungle Travels India is a Guwahati-based wildlife and birding operator with nearly three decades in the field and a National Tourism Award to its name. The company specialises in Northeast India, running expeditions from the Brahmaputra plains of Assam up into the eastern Himalayan foothills of Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.
Its signature programmes target five hornbill species, the endangered Bengal Florican, Black-breasted Parrotbill and the elusive Snowy-throated Babbler — birds largely confined to this corner of India. In-house naturalists lead small groups through Eaglenest, Nameri, Kaziranga and Dibru-Saikhowa, covering a region with over 850 recorded species.
