Jungle Buddies

Jungle Buddies is a Mumbai-based birding operator founded in 2011 by Prathamesh Desai, who holds an MSc in Biodiversity and Wildlife Conservation Management plus an MBA in tourism. The company runs private and small-group tours across the Mumbai metropolitan birding circuit — Karnala Bird Sanctuary, Thane Creek Flamingo Sanctuary, Sanjay Gandhi National Park and Tungareshwar. With more than a decade of guided trails behind it, the team specialises in turning Mumbai's surprisingly rich urban-fringe habitats into accessible birding experiences for visiting birders and residents alike. Coverage spans Thane, Raigad and Palghar districts in coastal Maharashtra.
