India Bird Watching is the dedicated birding vertical of Nature Safari India Pvt. Ltd., a wildlife travel company founded in 2000 and based in Gurugram, Haryana. The parent company, run by Sharad Vats, has roughly three decades of experience moving small groups through India's tiger reserves; the birding arm extends that operation to cover the Indian subcontinent's roughly 1,300 species. Its catalogue spans the Central Indian highlands (Kanha, Pench, Bandhavgarh), the eastern wetlands (Sundarbans, Kaziranga, Nameri), the classic north Indian circuits around Corbett and Bharatpur, and the Western Ghats in the south.
