About

Hungarianbirdwatching.com is an association of seven Hungarian birding guides offering customised birdwatching tours and holidays across Hungary, with Budapest-based excursions also on the menu. The team includes professional guides Bence Kokay, Laszlo Albert, Norbert Riezing, Gabor Horvath, Antal Bagdi, Laszlo Kozma and Daniel Hegedus, all of whom describe themselves as young, enthusiastic birders. Their itineraries cover the country's main birding hotspots, including the Hortobagy puszta, Lake Ferto, the Kiskunsag steppe, Lake Tisza and the forested Bukk and Zemplen mountains. Signature target species include Great Bustard, Saker Falcon, Eastern Imperial Eagle, Red-footed Falcon, Pygmy Cormorant, White-tailed Eagle and Ural Owl, with tours tailored around the client's target list and preferred travel pace.
