Greece Bird Tours has been running tailor-made birding and wildlife trips across Greece since 2003. The company operates primarily out of the Athens area, with a network of guides covering both the mainland and the country's biggest island hotspots including Lesvos, Lemnos, and Crete. Day tours focus on the Attica region's wetlands and mountain habitats, while longer itineraries head to migration corridors at Lake Kerkini and the lagoons of Messolonghi, plus dedicated trips for Mediterranean specialities and spring passage on Lesvos. The outfit also runs herping tours, Athens layover birding for cruise passengers, and combined cultural-culinary-natural-history programs. It received the Platinum Tourism Award in 2024 and a TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice Award in 2025.
