Ekowisata Papua Tour

Ekowisata Papua Tour is a local Papuan birding outfit based in Biak, Indonesia, founded by Benny Lesomar and operating since 2009. The company acts as a ground operator and logistics organizer for visiting birders, designing itineraries across Papua and West Papua and frequently partnering with international bird tour leaders who need on-the-ground support for the region's notoriously difficult logistics. Their core circuit covers the Biak archipelago endemics (Biak Paradise Kingfisher, Biak Scops Owl, Biak Pitta, Biak Lory) as well as the broader Papua route through Sorong, Raja Ampat, Manokwari, Nabire and Cendrawasih Bay, the Baliem Valley and Habema highlands, and the Aru Islands. Benny is the operations lead while his son Eko Lesomar guides in the field, with both based in their home town of Biak.
