Eco Tours Tenerife

Eco Tours Tenerife is a small Canarian operator that runs private birdwatching trips across Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands and one of Europe's best destinations for endemic landbirds and Atlantic seabirds. Tours are led by government-certified ornithologist guides and run for groups of one to seven, with telescopes and binoculars provided. Itineraries are customised on the day to chase Tenerife's endemics — including the Blue Chaffinch and the local pigeons of the laurel forest — alongside Great Spotted Woodpecker, Atlantic Canary and the resident raptors. Optional add-ons include seabird-watching boat trips for shearwaters and storm-petrels in the channel between Tenerife and La Gomera. The company markets itself in several languages and operates across the whole island, picking clients up from hotels and apartments.
