About
Diego Quesada is a Costa Rican birding guide based in La Fortuna, certified as a naturalist guide since 2002 and the holder of a degree in Natural Resources Management. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Asociación Ornitológica de Costa Rica and has been ranked in the country's top ten eBirders since 2014.
He is the director of the Ibycter Project, a long-running effort to study the locally endangered Red-throated Caracara in Costa Rica. His guiding focuses on the Arenal area and the Caribbean slope, including the Sendero Bogarín for Uniform Crake and the lake / Peninsula Road circuit. He also leads tours internationally with Rockjumper Birding Tours.
