Costa Rica Gateway

Costa Rica Gateway is a Costa Rica–based birding tour operator that has been arranging birdwatching trips and vacation packages since 1993. The company markets itself directly to independent birders and also acts as the in-country ground agent for a number of well-known US and UK birding tour companies. Their programme spans the full national birding circuit, with itineraries built around the country's flagship species — Scarlet Macaws on the Osa Peninsula, Resplendent Quetzals in the Talamancas, Agami Herons at lowland wetlands, and the hummingbird-rich highlands including the Snowcap and other regional specialities.
