About

Coffee Adventures is a small private guiding outfit run by Hans and Terry van der Vooren out of Boquete in Panama's Chiriqui highlands, with Terry leading the birding side of the operation. The central Chiriqui highlands between the Fortuna Reservoir and the Continental Divide are widely regarded among the best birdwatching locations in Panama, and Coffee Adventures has built its entire programme around that corridor. Their tours run as private half-day or full-day departures and include Cloud Forest Birding, Caldera Birding, Sendero Los Quetzales, and the longer La Fortuna Continental Divide trip. Targets include the iconic Resplendent Quetzal, Three-wattled Bellbird, Snowcap and a strong supporting cast of hummingbirds, tanagers and raptors. All tours include 4x4 transport, coffee, snacks and water.
