Boute Expeditions is a Brazilian operator specialising in birdwatching, photo safaris and natural history tours, led by Paulo Boute. The company is built around Cuiabá in Mato Grosso as its core operating base, giving direct access to the northern Pantanal, the Chapada dos Guimarães and the Cerrado-Amazon transition. From that hub it runs tailor-made itineraries across the Pantanal of both Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, and has more recently opened a local office in Aracaju, Sergipe, to handle Atlantic Forest and northeastern Brazil itineraries. The combination effectively covers two of Brazil's most productive birding macro-regions under one operator. Paulo Boute is also a long-running birding video producer, with a YouTube channel of field footage used to support the tour business.
