About
Boletas Birdwatching Centre is a guest house and tour operation founded in 1994 by Josele Saiz and Esther Diago in the village of Loporzano, in Huesca province at the southern edge of the Spanish Pyrenees. The name is the local Aragonese word for the Egyptian Vulture. Boletas combines on-site lodging with guided birding, photography, and natural-history holidays.
The Centre's core territory covers the Sierra de Guara, the Pyrenean foothills for Lammergeier and Wallcreeper, and the nearby Belchite steppes for Dupont's Lark and Great Bustard. Boletas has a long-running partnership history with British wildlife photographers and bird artists, and continues to run scheduled and tailor-made tours from the Loporzano base.
