About
Birdwatch Serbia is a Serbia-based operator running guided birding, eco and photography tours across this small Balkan country. Despite covering only around 100,000 square kilometres, Serbia hosts 140 species of European conservation concern, and Birdwatch Serbia's itineraries are built around the most globally significant of these — particularly Ferruginous Duck, Eastern Imperial Eagle, Lesser Kestrel, Great Bustard and Corn Crake.
The team covers eighteen specific sites including the wetlands of Ludas Lake, the dramatic Djerdap Gorge along the Danube, and the Zasavica nature reserve. Site content is offered in English and German, and the operator partners with VisitSerbia to combine birding with cultural and historical detours.
