Birdtour Asia

Birdtour Asia Limited is a UK-registered, Asia-focused birding tour company founded in 2005 and led in the field by co-founder James Eaton, co-author of Birds of the Indonesian Archipelago. The operator has a particularly deep Indonesian programme spanning West Papua, Sulawesi-Halmahera, the Lesser Sundas and Banda Sea cruises, Sumatra, West Java and Indonesian Borneo. Itineraries are designed around hard-to-find and recently described species, with custom-tour and pelagic options alongside scheduled departures. Eaton is also a vocal campaigner on the Southeast Asian songbird trade.
