BirdsRio Birdwatching

BirdsRio Birdwatching is run by Hudson Martins Soares, a professional bird guide, wildlife photographer and bird consultant based in Rio de Janeiro, with more than a decade of guiding experience in southeastern Brazil. The operation focuses on the Atlantic Forest endemics around Rio de Janeiro state and extends to longer itineraries reaching the Pantanal, the Amazon and the Cerrado. Hudson tailors trips for birders and wildlife photographers alike, mixing classic Brazilian endemic targets such as hummingbirds and tanagers with mammal highlights like jaguar in the Pantanal. Tours are run in both Portuguese and English.
