Birdpacker Indonesia

Birdpacker is a Malang-based birding tour outfit running custom and scheduled trips across Java, Bali, Sumba and Sulawesi. The company describes itself as a small birdwatcher community working to give local communities a leading role in protecting birds through birdwatching tourism, and contributes records to Burungnesia and the Atlas Burung Indonesia distribution-mapping project. Trips are typically led by guide Kukuh Waskito and a small team of East Java-based birders. The company's main programme covers the Javan endemic circuit (Gede-Pangrango, Halimun, Baluran, Alas Purwo, Ijen) plus Bali Barat for the Bali Myna and extensions to the Lesser Sundas and Sulawesi.
