About

Founded by Manuel Morales, Birding Tarifa is a fully licensed travel agency (RTA C.I.AN-118061-2) based in Tarifa at the Strait of Gibraltar — Europe's premier raptor-migration bottleneck. Day trips and longer itineraries roam across Cádiz province and the nearby Coto Doñana, with regular departures into Morocco for the trans-strait specialties, and extensions to Extremadura and Fuerteventura. The company is an Andalucía Bird Society approved operator and runs pelagic trips, photography tours, cetacean-watching, and steppe/desert-bird programs alongside the core raptor-migration product. Targets cover the full strait raptor cast plus seabirds, Bald Ibis in Morocco, and Iberian steppe specialties.
