About

Birding in Borneo is a Borneo-focused operator running birding and wildlife tours across all four political divisions of the island — Malaysian Sabah and Sarawak, Brunei, and Indonesian Kalimantan — since 2006. Itineraries hit the standard Bornean endemic circuit at Mount Kinabalu, the Rainforest Discovery Centre, the Kinabatangan River, Tabin, and Danum Valley, plus less-visited sites in Sarawak (Kubah, Mulu), Brunei (Temburong), and Kalimantan (Tanjung Puting, Sungai Wain). The company is operated by Yeo Siew Teck. Trips are pitched at birders seeking the full set of Bornean endemics including Bornean Bristlehead, Bornean Ground Cuckoo, and Bornean Peacock-Pheasant, often combined with orangutan and proboscis monkey viewing.
