About
Birding Buenos Aires is a small Argentine operator founded in 2010 by Marcelo, a guide who started birding at age 10 in the Buenos Aires province Pampas and worked as a field biologist and guide at the Argentine Museum of Natural History before going independent. The outfit specialises in tailor-made tours around the capital, the surrounding province, and longer expeditions into the high-diversity northwest including Jujuy.
Groups are kept small with an emphasis on relaxed pacing, no stressful playback, and personalised itineraries for visitors ranging from beginners to listers chasing specific endemics across the country's varied habitats — Chaco, Yungas montane forest, Prepuna, Puna, and the high Andes.
