Birding Adventures (Paddy Cunningham)

Birding Adventures is the solo guiding practice of Patricia "Paddy" Cunningham, a biologist and instructor based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She offers private guiding from the Fort Lauderdale area, with a focus on the northern Everglades, Bonnet House, the Space Coast, and Central Florida wetlands. Her approach is summarised as "intense birding at a relaxed pace," and tours are pitched as much around bird identification instruction as around ticking species — well suited to beginners as well as experienced birders. She explicitly does not guide in the Florida Keys. Target species include the South Florida specialities — Snail Kite, Limpkin, Wood Stork, Painted Bunting, Roseate Spoonbill, Short-tailed Hawk, Purple Gallinule, and Burrowing Owl among them.
