About
Søren Brinch is a Danish bird guide operating as BirderGuide, with a birding career stretching back to childhood and a particular expertise in Denmark's national parks and migration hotspots. He is based on the Wadden Sea island of Fanø with additional bases at Skagen, Tisvilde and the Copenhagen area, allowing him to cover the country's main birding regions from the south-west coast to the northernmost cape.
Tours are run on a fully customised basis with routes shaped around the species clients most want to see, drawing on a network of Danish bird specialists for real-time intel. Brinch travels in an electric vehicle and offers stays in personally restored historic properties, including The Captain's House in Sønderho, giving the experience a distinctive cultural and low-carbon flavour alongside the birding.
