Bird Tour Manado

Bird Tour Manado is a Sulawesi-based birding outfit run by guide Ono Tinungki out of Batuputih village in Bitung, on the doorstep of Tangkoko Nature Reserve. The operation specialises in Wallacea and offers itineraries from short Tangkoko stays through to 18-day Sulawesi-Halmahera circuits. The company's footprint covers the main North Sulawesi sites (Tangkoko, Tomohon, Gunung Ambang) plus Lore Lindu in Central Sulawesi and the South Sulawesi karst at Karaenta, with regular extensions to Halmahera for Standardwing and the Moluccan endemics. Trips are guided in English by Ono and a local field team.
