About

Bird-Photo-Tours Asia is a bird photography tour specialist run by Nick Ludovic Green, offering a portfolio of around 50 photography expeditions across roughly 26 countries spanning Asia and Oceania. Over more than 15 years and 150-plus expeditions, the operation has built itineraries from Central Asia (Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan) through the Indian subcontinent, Bhutan and China to Mongolia, Japan and the Philippines, and southwards via Vietnam, Indonesia and Timor-Leste to the Solomon Islands and New Zealand. Tours are designed specifically for photographers, mixing wild bird photography in the field with carefully chosen hides, blinds and feeding stations. Flagship trips include a 23-day Greater Sunda Islands workshop covering Bali, Java and Sumatra; a Bhutan Himalayan tour; the Cambodia critically-endangered-birds circuit targeting Bengal Florican, Giant Ibis and three vulture species; Hokkaido for Red-crowned Crane, Steller's Sea Eagle and Blakiston's Fish Owl; and dedicated Chinese pheasant and parrotbill expeditions.
