About
Barry's Guided Tours is an Irish-run wildlife and walking-tour operator based in Castlebar, County Mayo, on Ireland's west coast. Trips are led personally by founder Barry, supported by specialist local guides such as a Polish National Parks ranger for the eastern Poland tour.
Irish itineraries take in the Burren, Connemara, Mayo and the seabird island of Iniskea South, while the continental schedule runs through eastern Poland's primeval forests and marshes, Andalucia, Catalunya and Provence. A typical week in Poland produces 90 to 100 species, including Aquatic Warbler, several owls and woodpeckers, and large numbers of storks, raptors and cranes.
