Bali Birding Tour

Bali Birding Tour is a long-running Bali operator headquartered in Gilimanuk, on the Java Strait next to Bali Barat National Park - the last refuge of the Critically Endangered Bali Myna. The company describes more than eighteen years of field experience and is led by Hery Kusumanegara with a small team including Dian Tri, Bayu Hendra and Mas Utung. Itineraries cover Bali Barat for the Bali Myna and surrounding endemics, the East Java circuit (Baluran, Alas Purwo, Ijen) for Javan endemics and Green Peafowl, and extensions into the Lesser Sundas - Sumba, Flores, Komodo, Rote and Timor - where each island has its own suite of restricted-range species. Trips run from single-day Bali Barat outings to multi-week island-hopping programmes.
