Badgerland Birding

Badgerland Birding was founded by Wisconsin-based brothers Ryan and Derek Sallmann, who between them have over two decades of birding experience in the state. The outfit grew out of a popular YouTube channel and birding blog and now offers guided tours, photography trips and educational content focused on Wisconsin's birds. Tours cover the full state, from the Great Lakes shoreline to inland prairies and northern forests, with guide Rob Pendergast handling central Wisconsin trips. Signature targets include Greater Prairie-Chickens on lekking grounds at Buena Vista Grasslands, Kirtland's Warbler in jack-pine country, and winter specialities such as Snowy Owls.
