Audouin Birding Tours

Audouin Birding Tours was set up in 2005 by Cristian Jensen Marcet, a Catalan-Danish birder who grew up in Barcelona and now lives in Poble Nou del Delta on the edge of the Ebro Delta Natural Park. Since 2011 he has worked alongside Shena Maskell, and together they design, lead and ground-handle trips across Spain and its islands, with extensions into the Western Palearctic fringe of Morocco, Turkey, Jordan and Georgia. Day trips on the Ebro Delta sit alongside week-long itineraries to Extremadura, the Picos de Europa and the Cantabrian Mountains, taking in Audouin's Gull on home turf, raptors and bustards on the steppes, and Wallcreeper in the northern mountains.
