Ancon Expeditions of Panama

Ancon Expeditions of Panama is one of the country's longest-running natural history operators, founded in 1997 and based in Panama City. They specialise in country-wide nature, birding and adventure travel, with regular departures to the Canal Zone, the Darien, the Bocas del Toro archipelago, the cloud forests of Mount Totumas and the marine wilderness of Coiba. While not a pure birding outfit, Ancon offers dedicated bird-watching itineraries alongside their natural history and family expedition programs, drawing on local Panamanian naturalists for guiding. The company claims more than 100,000 travellers served and operates from a corporate office in the Torre Global Bank in the capital.
