About

Africa Birding Expeditions is a Uganda-based birding-safari operator running tours across East Africa, with itineraries in Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania. Their core product is the Uganda circuit anchored on Shoebill at Mabamba and the Albertine Rift endemics around Bwindi, extended into multi-country trips through the Albertine endemics of Nyungwe in Rwanda and the savanna and forest birds of Kenya and Tanzania. Based in Seeta Mukono outside Kampala, the team offers itineraries between roughly 10 and 18 days that combine classic East African game viewing with serious birding, plus shorter combined gorilla-and-birding programmes. They emphasise local guiding knowledge of the 1,000+ species recorded across the region.
