Adventure Birding Tours is a West Africa-focused birding operator based in Ghana, running guided trips through the forests, savannas and wetlands of the Upper Guinea region. The company targets twelve of the fifteen recognised West African endemics, anchored by the star attraction of Yellow-headed (White-necked) Picathartes.
Ghana is the home country, but their flagship multi-week trip threads Ghana, Togo and Benin together to maximise endemic and Sahel-zone coverage, with optional extensions to Sao Tome and Principe for Gulf of Guinea island endemics.
